Eric Brace and Thomm Jutz made their separate ways to Nashville two decades ago, each with a musical career well underway. Now a formidable duo, their second album, Circle and Square, is a gorgeous rumination on creativity, art, beauty, love, and friendship. Eric hails from Washington D.C., Thomm grew up in Germany. After leaving his career as a music writer for The Washington Post, Eric built Last Train Home into a powerful touring unit. Thomm won “Songwriter of the Year” at the 2021 IBMA awards, and his songs have been recorded by Billy Strings, Tim O’Brien, the SteelDrivers, and many more. He teaches songwriting at Belmont University.
Cindy Kalmenson is a spontaneous, engaging, and soulful performer with a gift for storytelling. She has received many accolades for her songs and songwriting. A winner at the 2025 Kerrville New Folk competition and the 2023 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival songwriting contest, she has drawn comparisons to Sheryl Crow and Lucinda Williams.
