Paula Fong is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who has been finding her voice recently as a solo artist. She spent her early summers in the French countryside and was deeply influenced by the local Breton folk music. She is enamored with the voices and songwriting of Joni Mitchell, Gillian Welch, and Patty Griffin. She released two albums with the great Tom Kell, and also tours with Abby Posner and the Big Fall.
Dave Tate has toured across the Western U.S. and Europe, and is one of the most in-demand musicians on the Central Coast. Often compared to Paul Simon and Jeff Buckley, his sound blends multiple genres and influences, while remaining uniquely his own. Sometimes high and soaring, sometimes hushed and inviting, his powerful voice weaves poetic lyrics through soundscapes of finger-style acoustic guitar and percussive rhythms.
