Quenby is country’s newest outlaw. Her self-titled debut album has made a fierce mark on the alt-country/Americana landscape. The Montana-based songwriter and activist forges her own path, and encourages others to steer clear of society’s rigid expectations in favor of something way more radical: being yourself. Her music is a patchwork of cosmic country tunes and warm Americana that tells stories of hard-won wisdom and emotional rebirths.
Emily Fennel’s earliest memories swirl through the dusty Canadian fairgrounds of Southern Ontario. She got her start at county fair singing competitions as a young girl. Now, simply known as Miss Emily, she has emerged from the soul-drenched gumbo of blues, old school R&B and jazz, and has a Juno nomination for Blues Album of the Year. She is also a three-time winner of the Female Vocalist of the Year at the Canadian Blues Awards (Maple Blues Awards) and tours internationally.
