Ethan Samuel Brown is a singer-songwriter from the coal-dusted hills of Kentucky. He spent a decade in Nashville wearing various hats in the music biz. His sound lands somewhere between the introspective folk-rock of Christian Lee Hutson and the piano-driven pop sensibilities of Ben Folds. His delicate guitar work and sharp lyrical wit have drawn comparisons to James Taylor and Leonard Cohen, with a voice that's a blend of Appalachian grit and Nashville polish.
Known for her literary songwriting style and deep honey voice, Berkeley author turned songwriter Zoe FitzGerald Carter released her debut album, Waiting for the Earthquake, in 2018 and Waterlines, in 2021. Her latest album, Before the Machine features 13 original songs, a rich assortment of talent, and explores how modern technology, in particular smart phones, have changed our experience and perception of time. She'll be joined by guitarist and vocalist Jason Luckett.
