Companion is the indie-folk duo of identical twin sisters Sophie & Jo Babb, with roots stretched across Oklahoma, Los Angeles, and Portland, Oregon. Their debut album, Second Day Of Spring, is a towering beacon: a victorious indie-folk record that further introduces two brilliant songwriters who are also mesmerizing singers. Their voices feel light, yet weighted, offering us comfort in treacherous corners. They will be joined by guitarist Adam Nash.
Ethan J. Perry describes his music as Americana Indie Technicolor Jazz. He began his music career in Seattle in 2007 and has released two solo albums— The Bohemian Bitch & Other Songs From Poets Row, and Night Lights. Jaimie Hawkins, an independent music reviewer, said of his music, “[it’s like] riding a horse through a desert in space.” Ethan is committed to cultivating and caring for a healthy world, healthy agriculture, and healthy people.
