She has also warmed the stage for Old Crow Medicine Show, and was a finalist in the 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Troubadour Competition.
Jonie brings the heart of Oklahoma folk to her new roots in LA, with a distinct emphasis on songwriting that feels at once lighthearted and fiercely vulnerable. Her lyrics draw from the well of open-hearted honesty, humor, and community that defined her upbringing, anchored in an intimate arrangement of fingerstyle guitar and close harmonies with longtime collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Adam Nash.
