Shaped by the similarly grey and rainy skies of England and the Pacific Northwest, acoustic duo Petty Chavez — made up of songwriters Simon Petty and Celia Chavez — formed when their musical paths converged in sunny southern California. After meeting onstage at a David Bowie tribute show in 2013, they have combined their disparate experiences ever since in harmony, life and song.
Paul Givant is a musician with strong roots in the Los Angeles area. He is the leader of the band Rose's Pawn Shop, known for its blend of folk, Americana, rock, and roots punk. Rose's Pawn Shop has released multiple studio albums and toured extensively. Givant will be promoting a soon-to-be-released solo project. His songwriting is lyrically sharp, witty, and intelligent and explores more personal themes that his RPS work. He has appeared previously at Wine & Song with his duo The Contraptionists with Stephen Andrews.
