Wine & Song is back for a special one-off show at the Short Leash patio. Host Laura Joy will be joined by Justin Farren, Eric Ramsey, and Brad Colerick. Gonna be a really fun reunion and a fabulous night of music. Short Leash is cooking up a special wine pairing for the evening in addition to their usual great food and drink menu. 7pm showtime.
Laura Joy is a touring singer-songwriter and Phoenix native currently living in Los Angeles. Her songs have won wide acclaim including first place at the Great River Folk Festival, best original song from NPR’s Chicagoland affiliate, and repeat accolades at the Acorn Theater Songwriting Contest. Justin Farren was born and raised in Sacramento, where he lives in a house built with his own two hands — or as he likes to refer to it, "a living museum of my own mistakes.” Justin's twin brother is a yellow truck named Yellow in which he tours the country. Eric Ramsey is a perennial favorite on the Folk and Blues Festival circuits known for his dynamic and engaging performances. Winner of the International Blues Challenge, he is also a three-time Champion of the Phoenix Blues Society's Blues Showdown. Billboard Magazine called Brad Colerick "one of a baker's dozen of acts to watch in the folk community around the world.” In 2009 he launched the Wine & Song series in South Pasadena, California, where he is know as the “nighttime mayor.”
