Eric Brace and Thomm Jutz made their separate ways to Nashville two decades ago, each with a musical career well underway. Now a formidable duo, their second album, Circle and Square, is a gorgeous rumination on creativity, art, beauty, love, and friendship. Eric hails from Washington D.C., Thomm grew up in Germany. After leaving his career as a music writer for The Washington Post, Eric built Last Train Home into a powerful touring unit. Thomm won “Songwriter of the Year” at the 2021 IBMA awards, and his songs have been recorded by Billy Strings, Tim O’Brien, the SteelDrivers, and many more. He teaches songwriting at Belmont University.
For Eleanor and Bonnie Whitmore, a sister duo who combine elements of Americana, country, folk, and rock with smart songwriting and celestial harmonies, the onset of Covid and the forced end to touring presented an opportunity. Back in the day, Eleanor, then 22, used to protect Bonnie, then 15, when the sisters had gigs in bars. Now, as Bonnie moved in for the duration with Eleanor and her husband Chris Masterson (with whom Eleanor tours and records as The Mastersons), it was time for the sisters to make their long-deferred album. The result, 2022’s Ghost Stories, produced by Masterson, is a collection of cathartic songs about love, death, and loss, songs that ultimately embrace the beauty and experience of living.

Dave Tate has toured across the Western U.S. and Europe, and is one of the most in-demand musicians on the Central Coast. Often compared to Paul Simon and Jeff Buckley, his sound blends multiple genres and influences, while remaining uniquely his own. Sometimes high and soaring, sometimes hushed and inviting, his powerful voice weaves poetic lyrics through soundscapes of finger-style acoustic guitar and percussive rhythms.
